Orchestral Fantasy, Op. 32 & String Trio, Op. 33

The notation software has been running almost 24 hours a day for the past couple of months. I am pleased to announce the release of two new compositions:

  • Orchestral Fantasy in F Major, Op. 32 “Elves of Endalia”
  • String Trio in D minor, Op. 33

The Orchestral Fantasy is actually the main title to a novel trilogy I am writing called the Elves of Endalia. The books will come with their own soundtracks. So this piece is essentially a musical montage of themes from the first book’s soundtrack.

The String Trio in D minor is a piece I wrote as an expression of how I have been feeling the past few months. I needed to express those feelings and get them off my chest. This piece does exactly that and I felt better after writing it. This piece was composed in a similar fashion to the Fantasie for Klavier, Op. 27 – there were no sketches, no playing of the piece beforehand. It was a direct brain to music composition, which are the purest forms of self expression. These types of pieces are raw and not watered down or modified. They are pure, straight from the pool of creative spirit, the mind and soul of the composer.

Both pieces are available for listening on my web site:  http://music.hypoxicstudios.com
